Forget Windows 11 and macOS – You Can Install Windows 95 on a MacBook

MacBooks (along with Windows and Linux PCs) can now get a new operating system, but it’s probably not what you expected – Windows 95 has just been resurrected in the form of a new application.

While the Betanews website reports (opens in new tab)Felix Rieseberg, developer of Slack, made a working version of Windows 95 as an Electron Application (opens in new tab) using JavaScript. And with the latest version, you can run it on just about any Windows computer, along with MacBooks running macOS (including the ones with M1) and Linux devices too.
